82.4 million people are displaced. Over 1 billion children are subject to domestic abuse each year. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men first experienced sexual violence between the ages of 11 and 17. Some experts say that one of the most powerful missions the church can be involved in today is the mission of providing hope and healing to those who have faced trauma.
